Sequence Game Overview

Sequence is a fun and strategic game that can be enjoyed by various group sizes:

🧍‍♂️ Playable With: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, or 12 players
⚠️ Not Playable With: 5, 7, or 11 players (teams wouldn’t divide evenly)

👥 Team Setup

• More than 3 players? Divide evenly into 2 or 3 teams

• Two Teams:
  Players must alternate seating positions with opponents (e.g., A, B, A, B…)

• Three Teams:
  Players must sit at every third seat (e.g., A, B, C, A, B, C…)

🎮 Game Setup

Board Placement

Place the board on a flat surface like a table or the floor. Make room for:

• Draw deck

• Discard pile

• Marker chips

Card Deck Preparation

• Remove all jokers – they are not used

• Shuffle and divide the decks into two stacks

Determine the First Dealer

1. Each player draws one card from the shuffled deck

2. The player with the lowest card becomes the dealer

3. Reshuffle the decks after choosing the dealer

🔴🔵🟢 Chip Selection

• Each team selects one color of marker chips

• All teammates use the same color

• Use red chips only if playing with three teams
